The room

A talk in the Dream Room: slides on the main screen, guests seated at the teal tables under brass fringed lamps

Caravan of Dreams, New York’s oldest organic vegan restaurant, has fed the East Village for more than thirty years. The Dream Room is its back room: a blue velvet curtain, brass fringed lamps, teal tables and space for 45.

Screens.
An LG on the stage and a 4K set in the middle of the room, both ready for AirPlay, Roku or HDMI.
Sound.
A mixing console with two wireless mics, running through a mono house system.
Light.
Four high-CRI stage lights keep faces looking natural on video.
Wi-Fi.
Free, all night.

Prices

Public events cost less, on purpose. We think of the room as shared infrastructure for a neighborhood that has hard years to get through together, so when your doors are open to anyone, the rate goes down.

Prices are for hours in the room, setup and clear-out included. Each hour past three costs $10 less than the one before.
