“Here we are, all of us: in a dream-caravan.”
Bahaudin Naqshband · Sufi mystic
We have invited the builders, dreamers, and doers who are grappling with the metacrisis and building a prosocial, regenerative future. Dear Crisis has partnered up with New York City’s oldest organic vegan restaurant to create a sanctuary for cross-pollination and convergence between worlds as we consider how to future-proof ourselves, our communities, and our planet.
Come nourish your mind, body, and spirit in community.

The week is self-funded by the Dear Crisis community, and part of that money is a community fund that keeps the week accessible: anyone priced out of an event can ask the fund to cover their ticket. If you are interested in adding to the community fund, or in contributing philanthropic funds to support this work, please reach out.
East Sixth Street, five minutes from Tompkins Square Park.
Caravan of Dreams has fed the East Village since 1991.
The mystic Bahaudin Naqshband described humanity as a dream-caravan: individuals traveling together, yet each suspended in their own subjective reality, carried by their own hopes and illusions.
This week, we hope to gather those dreams together, right here in NYC.
As you enter the space, you’ll discover a small bohemian restaurant. The kitchen runs all day: warm coffee, healthy snacks, exquisite organic plates, and drinks with or without alcohol. Behind it, the dream room will host our week of programming, bringing people together for workshops, experiences, panels, presentations, and parties.
The doors are open from 11 AM to 11 PM, all week, for the curious locals and the weary travelers alike.
